Application Process

Expression of Interest

Watch the recording of our Online Information Session.

Complete the Expression of Interest Form. You will then be offered an online Expression of Interest Interview with Emma Clemens, Director of the Teaching Schools Alliance Sydney (TSAS). These interviews take place on Tuesdays.

Applications close 30 September.

Interview

First round interviews are scheduled for ​Monday 20 and Tuesday 21 October 2025.

Interviews will also include a class teaching and feedback activity.

You will be notified the following week if you are successful for a second round interview with the school principal.

Offer

Successful candidates are offered a conditional position with the Alliance on the provision that they apply and meet the entrance requirements of University of New England or Alphacrucis University College. Trainees with UNE must have a CSP and therefore, will not receive any further tertiary subsidy from their Alliance school.

Induction

Successful candidates receive a contract from their Alliance school and commence their school-specific induction process in late January.
Trainees also participate in a TSAS Induction with other trainees in the Alliance cohort in late January.
